Are heart rate monitors also banned for this event? 80% of the fleet had one on today and they all contravene SI 2.3?

Clarification regarding my previous question: I would just like to clarify that I may have expressed myself incorrectly in my previous question. When I referred to “independent GPS analysis”, I meant that I downloaded and reviewed the data recorded by my own Vakaros Atlas 2 on my phone after racing. This is precisely why I would like to compare the information recorded by my device with the official RaceSense data, just to make sure they are consistent. English is not my first language, so I apologise if the wording of my previous question caused any confusion. Many thanks for your understanding.

Hi, could you please check the RaceSense data for ARG 222111 in Races 4 and 5 today? I received an OCS indication in both races and returned to restart. I would like to understand the RaceSense data from both starts and, if possible, know the distance over the line recorded by the official system at the starting signal. I would also like to verify that the data recorded by my device is consistent with the official RaceSense system. I have independent GPS analysis showing a different position in Race 4, while in Race 5 the independent analysis shows me approximately 0.1 m over the line. Given these differences, could you please let me know what RaceSense officially recorded for ARG 222111 at the starting signal in each race? Many thanks.

In the class rules it states one camera is allowed onboard and I would like the option of using my camera at this event. However, most cameras (including mine) have WiFi and Bluetooth so you can watch the footage back on shore. SI 2.3 reads: 2.3 [DP] While afloat, a competitor shall not carry equipment capable of making or receiving voice or data transmissions, except for equipment provided or approved by the organising authority. This wording leads me to believe I am prohibited from using my camera, given the device is capable of data transmissions (even if it is not active until back on shore). Please can you clarify if cameras with WiFi and Bluetooth are approved by the organising authority? Many thanks.

Thank you, but this does not answer my question. I understand that the data extracted from the Atlas represents the location of the unit and that RaceSense incorporates the hull dimensions for the OCS calculation. My Atlas is installed and configured according to the event requirements, including the position of the device relative to the bow. What I am specifically asking for is the official RaceSense OCS value for ARG 222111 at the starting signal in Race 4 and Race 5. Could you please tell me how far over the starting line RaceSense calculated my boat to be in each race? For example: R4 = X metres over the line; R5 = X metres over the line. I am simply trying to verify the OCS information recorded by the official system for my boat. I am not making a claim or disputing either OCS decision; I am simply requesting the exact data recorded by the system. As RaceSense is a relatively new system for us as competitors, I believe having access to simple information such as the actual OCS distance recorded for our own boat is important for understanding the system and having confidence in how it is being used. I hope you can understand my position: it is difficult for competitors to build confidence in a new system if we cannot access basic information about the decisions it makes concerning our own boat. Many thanks
