Brief description of the incident (place, time, involved boats, infringed rule):
At the gate 3 in heading for the final reach both gate marks came toghether and I was forced to go around both marks because of other boats didnt gave me room. I truly believed that in this situation that the mark was not considered a gate anyone and was just a normal mark rounding as we were going on a reach after. Because of this I went around both marks to avoided conflict and didn’t go back to go threw because I didn’t know it was nessary.
