Organizing Authority
In the sailing instructions it says that initial fleet allocation will be done by a seeding committee.
It is apparent that the technique used for this has been to use a list in order of sail numbers, so there has been no consideration of the ranking of sailors in their nation etc.
Can you explain this decision please?
The decision was made to seed the boats by sail number. We decided that this method produced the best random allocation. Peter van Muyden
